About

Jennifer Jernigan McBride is an MA candidate at The University of Texas at Tyler, where she completed her BFA in 2024. Jennifer discovered a passion for ceramic sculpture in 2022 after transferring to UTT. She is one of the recipients of the (2024) 26th Annual Regina Brown Undergraduate Student Fellowship from The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts and the current President of the Studio Art and Art History Association for the Department of Art and Art History at UTT.

When Jennifer isn’t in the studio sculpting she can be found with her wife, Cheyenne, son, Matthew, their four dogs, Bird, Munchie, Annie, and Olive, and their cat, Lilith. She works with a non-profit that supports animals in East Texas and enjoys thrifting, reading, and spending time at the lake, swimming, and fishing.
